The Intercomm International Internship Program offers participants an opportunity to work in Belfast, Northern Ireland on projects that are effectively delivering economic regeneration, reconciliation and social reconstruction to communities that are robustly emerging from a 30-year period of community conflict. While this Intercomm program offers interns practical work experience in a wide range of disciplines, all programs share a common ethos: to combat the social, economic and political problems created by 30 years of conflict and help construct a concrete and viable peace. The Intercomm International Internship Program is designed for undergraduates, graduates and law students. Students majoring in the following disciplines may find the program of particular interest and relevance:
Students must have at least a 3.0 grade point average in their major and a 2.7 grade point average overall. Internships will be broken down into two semesters:
