Edward de Bono Foundation

The Edward de Bono Foundation NI is working, in partnership, with Intercomm through the North Belfast Community Empowerment Programme (CEP). To date the CEP has provided training in Parallel Thinking, creativity and innovation for over 200 people in North Belfast. Using the internationally acclaimed de Bono training programmes Six Thinking Hats and CoRT, a range of community, voluntary, business educational and statutory organisations working in North Belfast have availed of training in Parallel Thinking to address issues of Parallel Living, Community Relations and Partnership management.

Through training in Six Thinking Hats and CoRT (Cognitive and Research Trust) community groups, youth workers teachers and school children learn how Constructive Thinking, innovation and creativity can benefit problem solving, conflict resolution and partnership management. The CEP has also worked through North Belfast schools to assist teachers develop creativity and innovation skills in young people.
